ABOUT

Carked It - A game about life, death and beyond

Carked It! is an hilarious death-themed card game created as a project by The Ageing Revolution  – an organisation that began as a force to address ageism. This unconventional party game, that encourages and stimulates better conversations around dying and death, has been co-designed and partially funded by the Good Death Impact Network.

The card game Carked It! is about something we should all come to terms with — life’s ultimate destiny. It can be played as a funny card game with friends or at social gatherings (anyone for a hand of Halloween humour?). It’s a great way for people to get to know each other. It can also be used for its more serious purpose — to facilitate what can otherwise be very difficult discussions about what happens at the end of… us.

Why does The Good Death Impact Network support this death-positivity playing-card party pack? They’re a community of like-minded (and different-minded) people, working to improve all things that affect death and dying — driven by the belief that all Australians and their loved ones deserve the best possible end-of-life experience: a peaceful, connected death, in a place of their choosing, free of pain.
